FM 2305 Hike & Bike Trail

A Commuter Path

August, 2024 by brian_thomas

This isn’t really a recreational trail, it’s more of a commuter path that runs alongside a busy road. It’s better than a bike lane, but serves the same purposes: get to work, go to the store, etc. The area is very commercial with lots of strip malls, fast food restaurants, and driveways that cross the path. There are numerous traffic lights. The most interesting thing to see is the old truss bridge. The connection to Pepper Creek Trail is helpful in providing urban connectivity, however.

relaxing stroll

This concrete path is accessible to everyone. The creek along with its shade trees provide a path that’s both relaxing and rejuvenating.

Bike Trail?

November, 2021 by jordanjh2003

Is this really a bike trail? Seems like it just follows the road on the north side of Adams. If you ride the south side of Adams you’ll get hit for sure. Lots of traffic and vehicles coming and going down all those 30+ driveways that you’ll come across. I wouldn’t call it a “trail” but more of a “route”.

Nolan Creek Hike and Bike Trail

Enjoyable walk

June, 2021 by stevebarkley54

We really enjoyed walking along this trail next to Nolan Creek. It goes through 3 parks and was not crowded at all. All concrete pathway made it very easy. If you have kids they will enjoy both the creek and the playgrounds along the way. One even had a splash pad. There are a few spots with easy access to the creek. While we were sitting with our feet in the water a family came by and the grandmother introduced us to her son, who designed this trail walk!

beautiful!

Our dog loved it. There are plenty of ducks and wildlife to watch and nice wide paved trails. My favorite Bell County find so far!

...Great walking trail

June, 2020 by mtstmichel52

After relocation to Belton TX from OR, I am thrilled to have an outdoor area such as this to walk our fur-babies and enjoy the sound of the running creek waters...nothing can take the beauty away from OR, but this rural area and Belton in itself was a great place to relocate....the one thing I would like to see is less canine waste...I always carry 3-4 empty bags with me..but I will not pick-up other animals waste....it is not that big of a deal to respect others walking or biking areas...just saying...not sure if horses are allowed on trail, but this past weekend there was a significant amount of horse waste along the paths...maybe a reminder to the public would be helpful.

Great time, many areas to take a dip into the river. The trail is well maintained and there are facilities along the way.
